Any gunsmith who has a lathe and can thread properly can install a Polychoke.

Dennis, for some unfair reason I seem to have cornered the world market on 12 gauge Poly Chokes, If you are ever in the need? Also a surplus in Poly Ribs too ???. Regards David Henry.

Poly-choke is still made, I saw their website the other day. In my expieience, a shotgun with any adjustable choke is seriously devalued.

Doesn't devalue the gun any as it is a screw in... just remove it!

surplus in poly ribs david henry? had problems with them? i agree with whoever said that a poly choked shot gun is seriosly devalued. they are the butt ugliest thing anybody can do to any shotgun. if you have to have one get a screw in polychoke. brownels has them at $99.99 u.s..when your done hunting you can unscrew it remove it and your shotgun looks normal again.

I have to agree that they are soory looking things, I was forced almost at gun point to that a stevens 12 pump 820? on trade , for cheap, looks as new , parts might come in handy, sad part is that I shoot better with this gun than my 101's and other good stuff, guess it just fits-I hate when that s*** happens
