Poly patches for round balls

Several of my hunting buddies are still shooting round balls out of their older Hawkens, not sure of the twist but I'm guessing 1:48. They have been using sabot style poly patches but can't find them anymore. Are they still being made and is their a source for them in Canada?

1 in 66 would be better. I have tried the patches you mentioned. I still prefer .010 patch with .490 ball. Irish linen or cotton pillow ticking still works great. No burn throughs on recovered patches. These numbers relate to a .50 cal gun.

I shoot poly patches for .490 round ball. Hornady makes them. Wholesale Sports is where i get mine. $8.00 for 50 count bag.
