Polymer complete lower

Just wondering who can supply a polymer lower in Canada?
Frontier armery/plum crazy hasn't got back to me about dealers in Canada.
I'd like a really light AR-15. I'm not looking for a carbon fiber lower. I know bushmaster makes one. However I don't see a polymer lower on there website.

The Vulcan lowers are ok, I found the mag well isn't 100% to spec, and same with the spot where you install a trigger guard, you can't install a Magpul enhanced trigger guard without modding it

I shot a bustmaster ar-15 this weekend. Really liked it but the stock was a polymer A2 and the reciver was cnc. I'm short and would like a light rifle. A sully stock would be great but it isn't a complete polymer lower.

Yea, I believe Questar commented on that, the lowers are ok... but their ARs were crap, if I remember correctly

The vulcan polymer lowers are lousy. The polymer threading keeping the aluminum buffer tube on stripped this wintertime after less than a year of use. Also there's absolutely zero warranty offered by Questar on their vulcan arms products.

It was a nice, light AR lower while it worked. Too bad it didn't work for all that long.

LOL funny thing is anyone who has one says if I bought one of the Ar-15 22lr rilfes, I could sell the Vulcan lower for $250.

aluminum is not heavy, a real heavy AR will weigh around 3 kg unloaded and not a whole lot more loaded due to 5-1 rounds and thats pretty light. i havnt seen one in person but i really dont see them going the distance. plus i dont see to many tier 1 companies making them. i pretty sure you could muscle 3 kg pretty well and it will prolly be less then that.

Running a light profile barrel will save you more weight and that weight will be from the muzzle end, which will make it feel lighter than it really is.

Good point! I assume a shorter barrel would also help, however from what I've read, any barrel shorter than 11.5" has issues cycling and shooting accurately. What are you guys thoughts?

I think a good compromise would be a 14.5 would be good for cqb and for distance shooting, 11.5 or 10.5 is good for cqb, but looses the ability to reach out and touch someone
