Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on 10 round polymer mags for the Ruger Scout rifle in.308? I've seen them in the states for around $29.99, does Brownells ship to Canada? Are they my best option?

I just ordered a 3 round from Brownells. They have not shipped it yet, so I don't know what shipping will be yet. They show the item as exportable as long as it is under $100. db

Just got the shipping notice on this. I had a total of nearly $90.00 on the order. (3 round magazine, a set of reloading dies and some taps/dies) Shipping was $16.55 for "International first class" I thought this was the cheapest rate, but will look a little closer at my choices for my next order.
Good luck on your order! db

I ordered 3 mags and after a month and 3 emails about what was going on with the order I sent a email saying to cancel and i immediately got a response but no answer to why the delay.
All my other orders from them have gone flawless.

Thanks Berger, I looked around quite extensively before I ordered and could not find any in Canada. Looks like Wolverine only has the steel and the 10 round polymers, I wanted a 3 round for hunting. If anyone finds a Canadian source, sing out, because I would like a couple of more. db

You guys are aware the Canadian dollar has #### the bed right? What does $30US plus us shipping, plus tax when they arrive, plus God knows how long a wait time.

Wolverine sells them.

MDT makes AICS ,308 polymer mags as well... mine work fine in my Ruger Scout..

I bought a few of those MDT AICS .308 10 rounders and I'm glad they work will with my Ruger Gunsite Scout! But that's just for playing around at the range. For hunting I was able to buy the Magpul 700 Hunter Stock Magazine Well adapter (bought TWO of them) and they come WITH one 5 rd/ 6 rd magazine for .308 setups.

So with the TWO of the adapters, I modified my M700 SPS Tupperware stocks to fit these adapters and now I have TWO of the Magpul mags to go with my AICS compatible hunting M700's and also this Gunsite Scout (iron sighted deer rifle for the November deer season coming up) :)

I did buy my Ruger Factory 3 rounders from Wolverine Supplies about Sep 2015 and they set me back $39.99 each. I found them handy to carry last moose and deer / rifle season. Nice and kinda flush near the balance point.

This season, I will try the 5 rounders and see how they carry.

Cheers,
Barney

My experience is similar to yours.... I love the 3 rounders.... next best thing to a hinged floorplate, but on my setup, the extra protrusion helps balance out some of the weight of the scope...
