Polymer80 COMPACT kits now available for pre-order

Any chance of ETA ?
I am sorry about this .

All the extra kits were put up onto the website lastnight before I left. If they've sold out we're likely looking at 4-6 weeks for the next order.

Hope that answers your question. If not let me know.

Is there any reason a .40 lower kit wouldn't work with a 9mm slide assembly?

Apparently it is unreliable, but works. It has something to do with how the different extractors behave when using the different cabilber upper and lower. Not sure why this is the case though, since the extractors are in the slide... This is what I could find out by reading Glock forums

Is there any reason a .40 lower kit wouldn't work with a 9mm slide assembly? The reason I ask is that I have a .40 parts kit and a complete 9mm slide assembly.

The issue is the difference in the ejectors (which are in the lower) that cause the reliability issues. The 40S&W (and 357SIG) uses a straight ejector while the 9MM (and .380) use one with a slight bend to it and then the 10MM / 45 ACP use one that has a slight outward cuver combined with a inward bend.

What is different between a standard 9mm parts kit and a 'compact' kit? The only 'compact' part from the list appears to be a Slide Lock Spring.

Thanks for the reply.

The only difference is the slide lock spring. With the fullsize kit coming with the LWD-5446 and the Compact kit coming with the LWD-2317.
