Polymer80 COMPACT kits now available for pre-order

Ok sorry to repeat a bunch of questions that may already have been asked. Read the entire thread and unless I take notes along the way I can't remember what's what.

Looking to build a compact .40
I see I can order the lower and parts kit
Are compact slides coming in, or are they custom order?
Will they be complete uppers, complete slide and barrel or stripped down with a parts kit?

Do to the variaty of slides (bare, OEM, custom, etc.) we're only offering slides as custom order using our Lone Wolf Slide Service;

We've been tracking what people are ordering and there doesn't seem to be any common configuration.

It's only the full size frames that are this cheap at certain large US vendors, not the compacts. My suspicion is that the full size frame is getting a re-design for a better grip texture such as on the compact so they're blowing out inventory in anticipation of the more desireable new models. PM incoming for your answer.

The ones you see being blown out are the v1 versions (or first gen) Polymer 80 is already onto v1.5 which are the ones we're offering.

We've not seen nor heard about any issues with the Compacts. Our understanding is that Polymer 80 based the Compact's on ther v1.5 version of the full-size which is the improved version.

The compacts are easier. Faster then the full size to assemble. Pins fit better. Trigger housing fits tight, no rocking. Much better detailing on the compact. Having steel rails saves a lot of head aches and time.

We've not built on yet so I can not speak from experince. My understanding is you will need to contact the RCMP and they will either ask for photos or you may need to send it in.
