Polytech M14s upgrades??

Hey I have just purchased a polytech M14, a lovely gun for the price. However, I want to upgrade it. I am a student so I do not have alot of funds for this. anyone know of cheaper upgrades that will dramatically increase performance of this rifle?? Thank you

Practice is free, ammo cost notwithstanding.

those two are cheap yet effective upgrades

Best to do a search in the Main Battle Rifle forums. There should be stickies. Look for posts from a dude named Hungry, he gives clinics on how to tweak the M14 and how to shoot it.

+1 on lots and lots of practice. I've seen an 11 year old girl shoot better then most guys only because she gets more practice.
