SEI 5/8 24 threaded castle nut adapter with a thread protector , for those looking to retain front sight while keeping muzzle options
Just want to confirm: The threads of the SEI adapter work without any issues with the Norinco/Polytech threaded barrel??

The adapter is not threaded, it is splined. You use your existing castle nut to retain it so it will fit Norc or GI barrels.

^^^ what he said , just don't mess up that castle nut I think they are hard to find note that the adapter is held on buy the castle nut but forward of the sight it is threaded to accept standard American .30 cal muzzle devices

From what I can tell my flash hider and the sights are 1 piece, they cant be separated. So if I was to replace it I would need to find a new front sight as well... 2 pieces, + shipping, maybe duty + gunsmith to connect them as I think my existing flash hider has welds to the barrel. Damn might be close to $300 dollars.

I noticed that it doesn't have a front reticle... could I detach the front reticle off my stock sight and attach it to the above?

I have that same basic part that I took off my norinco if you have troubles with it being a restricted part I could make a deal for mine it is luged and suffered no damage when we broke it loose with a hammer plus the spines are true unlike some Chinese flash hiders !
They are going to cancel your order, Brownells will not ship those into Canada. They cancelled my order also when i tried.
