Polytech m305 flash hider replacement

WHAT IS THIS PING??
please help i dont want my #### to fall off! :p

Ahhhh..........The "PING" is one of the sweetest sounds and is proof that your gun is in tune with the Universe. My understanding is that it only occurs when the harmonics of all components are aligned with each other and it vibrates like a tuning fork when fired. That is my understanding.
My belief is that the 'PING" is an elusive little bast@#d that likes to tease. I had the PING once at Hungry's clinic in Tracey and was very happy. I swear the "PING" must have fell off in the carpark leaving Tracey.....cos I never heard it since.
I am that sad old man at the range who shouts " PING...PING..PING...PING...PING " whilst shooting the Norc......Anyone who looks closely will see tears in my eyes :(
But at least my #### didn't fall off, tho it might as well have...........the shame of it,the feeling of inadequacy...sob :(
I hope you get the "PING" and enjoy your shooting, Ping or no Ping its a great gun :))

I am trying to figure out the best method for my M14. I love the look of the M14.ca "LMB" light muzzle brake that comes with the sight attached. If I never planned on removing it that would be perfect. I have sent in my barrel to be cut and threaded to 1/2 x 28 tpi for that particular brake. I have also found an adapter that will allow me to use muzzle brakes with the very popular 5/8 x 24 tpi threading.

To me it makes more sense to attach the sight directly to the barrel so it won't have to be removed every time you want to put on another brake/or flash hider. Otherwise you need to come up with another front iron replacement each time. A gas lock sight is one route but it has to be removed for cleaning. I am REALLY tempted to modify the one from M14.ca with some kind of spacer to keep it on there permanently. It looks durable enough. There are many options but I think less is more.

Any other ideas?

Brownells is full of S@!T regarding the restriction. I just ordered my Springfield muzzle break today, confirmed ship to Canada. Not the sale price that brownsmells have, but it's on it's way.....

Yeah my order was just canceled.

I tried to order a muzzle break yesterday, figured it's different then a flash hider for export purposes... order was canceled again. I may try with Springfield armories but their shipping will supposedly take 8 weeks so I don't know wtf anymore.

Is this what you bought(I just ordered it)? http://www.springfield-armory.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_31&products_id=161
