I almost purchased one from another vendor weeks ago and was ready to pay 1000$ just for the fun of having a cool AK looking rifle, but the bent barrels many were reporting cooled off my excitement. Too bad they were poorly manufactured because it could have been a really awesome gun to own.
One thing for sure though, I would never buy one over MSRP, especially from someone who's only looking to make a quick buck on the back of a fellow CGNer.

Here's the quote from an article in the National Post:
A spokesperson for Blair said certain semi-automatic rifles were not included in the ban because they did not meet certain thresholds — primarily that they are not considered to be of “modern design” and are not “present in large volumes in the Canadian market,” according to the regulations.
And also will never be manufactured nor imported into Canada again, so was pointless to try to stop sales as they stopped on their own.
