I just bought this gun while it looks excellent you can force the cylinder to turn after the trigger has been released. The gun has been re-nickled and I think the cylinder stops are full of nickel and are preventing the cylinder latch from holding. Anyone had this problem before, also does anyone have a link for parts for these old S&W guns. Appreciate any help guys.
The gun works fine in DA but the hammer will not pull fully back in single action. It will go to first click then
will have to be completed by pulling the trigger which will take the hammer to full ####.
