Nice, That should work well.. I have the same issue with black on black..

I use a paint made for Scuba divers to mark their equipment.. It hold up real well in wet conditions and seems to not chip

Looks good. I did the same with my GP100. However Walmart has in the art section, a package of neon paint markers. I bought and used them, much brighter colours. I settled on florescent orange over white.

Ive done that on a few sights over the years. I usually use a bright orange nail polish or I have used whiteout as well.
It makes quite a difference.

Very nice! If you cast your own size your 9MM bullets with a .358 sizing die and you will find it helps with the accuracy if your 9MM cylinder throats for the 9MM are opened up to .358. You barrel should be .357.

Take Care

I do that with all my guns but find white a lot easier to see.
You may find a square patch that just fits in the rear notch may be better.
I actually took the sight off my GP 100 and filed the face flat and contoured the ramp below it.
Not really a fan of ramped sights.

Your correct, white does show up the best most times, If you pint the sight white first, then apply your color on top it usually comes out brighter.
