Poor mans........

I have used a 9422 in the past and would definitely consider owning one someday.
Just going on looks alone I would never buy a 150 or 250. Just too ugly for me.
 
I've had a 9422m with the classic semi pistol grip stock for almost 30 years. First gun I bought new off the rack as a teenager.
Maybe 200 rounds throught it, but always shot great....has a few coyotes and a few groundhogs under it's belt. It's always been kinda a pet gun....like it to much to beat it up but take it out when some thing is deserving of it or just for nestalga sake.
One of my favorites.

Looks like a perfect rifle to give to your responsible 11-12yo+ for a use while out with their buddies hiking in the woods... (do kids still do that?) Also would be a nice camp gun for cans and squirrels. If I owned one i'd never sell it either. My personal nostalgia gun is a .177 Ruger Airhawk, techinally not worth much but its seen more practical use than anything I own and was my first rifle. Some things just are not worth selling compared the value, practicality and enjoyment gained from keeping them.

I had to look them up as I've never heard of them.
 
Winchester 150 was my first gun over 50 years ago. I have shot thousands of gophers with it!! I like my Remingtons and Mossbergs and my BL22, but when I pull the old 150 out of the safe it just seems to all come together again. Super reliable if kept clean, easy to take apart and clean, and won't break the bank. Probbably one of the most well used rifles I have and probably one of the most accurate for a non bolt rifle. If you can find a good one, buy it and enjoy!!!

As a kid grew up shooting 2L Pepsi bottle caps off with a 150.
Don't think that poor old gun was ever cleaned and never a issue.
Sadly my dads original was stolen.

I also hadn’t heard of these and had to look. To my eye, the M250 appears very similar to a M88. I certainly like the lines, and may have to go on a quest.....darn you, Looky.

What sort of values do these things fetch in average/good condition?
 
Is it a 150 or 250?
I thought the 250 was the "deluxe" version with impressed checkering, the 150 being plain wood.
I had a deluxe in 95% condition and it sold for $425 shipped.
 
My first 22 was a marlin 39 golden A. That gun will be passed down..killed piles of gophers from near to far. On of my most fun guns

No idea, but I have a complete spare bolt here if you need one to go with it. I doubt I'll ever use it, it came in a box of other goodies.
Think I have one of the tin covers that go between the barrel and action too.

That's a carbine model very nice and rare. Love these guns cause they look like Winchesters 1200 and 1300 model receivers. These are the only guns that look like this and are exclusive to Winchester. No other copy's cats where made.
 
I had the misfortune to have to work on 150/250 rifles that customers brought in. Wouldn't own one. Mousetraps.
The pump versions are as bad.
The autoloading version is the best of the three.
These were among the rifles that drove Winchester into bankruptcy.
