Port Alberni M14 clinic

M14 Clinic - What a blast

I had a great time at both the clinic and the range. Good bunch of guys - all a little crazy perhaps. I have a bunch of photos that my wife took -some are even in focus:p - and if you would like them PM me with your email address and I will send you the full size pics. I am not sure I can remember who everyone is but I'll give it my best. I posted some pics of the range day below.

Tryin out the new and improved, thanks to Steve and Thomas, M305.

Good thing I was there to take care of that nasty poodle problem they have on that part of the Island.:ar15:

that looks like the west coast rangers range. not the sportsmans

Machman knows the name, I forget LOL but it was not the range on the shores of the stamp river. It was the old military type range up the hill leaving town. Operated now by the black powder gents. Met a few of them old timers, first class bunch of guys.

What a great day at the clinic on saturday M14's, Gunnutz and R.M.C.P. priceless:p. Sunday at the range with all of the M14s banging away, flashback
time:) Wish the Queen would pay for my ammo now.
Can't what for C.R. clinic 600yrds, ironsights and 50year old eyes.

Thanks Doc and Machman for a great weekend.

Looks like a stellar afternoon on the rivers. Nice work man!

Didn't take any pictures while we were at the range. I didn't even go up to have a look at the wolf's head. The trail ends at the 200 yard line and I didn't want to waste the time bushwacking. I was really impressed at how the gong at 200 didn't have any deep marks on it. Basically just removed the paint and chipped the mill scale. There was a definate difference between the FMJ and SP hits on the target at 125. I'll get a couple pictures (virgin and deflowered) of the targets that I brought up in a day or so.

I had a ton of fun meeting all you fellows. Looking forward to another one. Love to try the gas system unitizing process. Maybe at the next clinic all attendees will make it to the shoot day!!!
