Port Alberni Rendezvous

I have finally got off my bum and posted some photos from the May 24 weekend rendezvous at Port Alberni. Weather was good, lots of friends to bs with and the trails are exceptionally nice to walk and shoot on. There were numerous events including primitive archery. Bound to be a question about why McLean is holding his gun so strangely on the smoothbore trail. The gun is a replica of a japanese matchlock and they have a very short stock which is held against the shooters cheek.

Very neat thanks for posting.

We are trying to breathe some life back into our local BP club, the mini cannon silhouette (if I see that right) looks like an interesting addition.

Thanks Mooncoon - I like the idea of the silhouettes for the mini-cannon targets. Is "grape-shot" allowed? LOL
