In case any of you are going to try the Ported Carlson Coyote choke and are curious what diameter it has. The Diameter for the one I have is .667 measured with a digital vernier caliper. It is for the Rem 870 I have. Bought the choke to use with 4 buck for Coyotes,however didn't pattern all that well. I noticed on the package there was a sticker that said it was an excellent turkey choke. Well I have done a pattern test on all the chokes I have for my 870 and this choke performs best so far with lead #5 loads. Patterns were good to 35 yds with Kent Ultimate Fastlead. Have bought some turkey shells to pattern next and hope they are even better. Only a few weeks till season opener.
