Well i'm working on a prototype right now, having some issues casting the parts... Am hoping to get this resolved today or tomorrow though. So here's the question, If i am successful in getting the molds right, is there any interest among collectors if i do a small run of these? The would replace the wood currently on your stocks, all parts should just drop in without issue.

Why aluminum? The Portuguese made these replacement parts for their guns as the wood quickly rotted away in the jungle. Similar to the AR-10 aluminum furniture they had made, these will be hollowed out to cut down on weight.

Anyways, i know the demand isn't exactly high, nor is the supply of MG42's floating around LOL. But it could be an interesting conversation piece.

No idea on cost, as i will have to see just how long it will take me to complete each one. Once i know just how much work must go into each one, i'll set a base price.

I prefer wood myself. Love it on my TNW34.

Just let me know when you are finished your semi '42 build.

I see that you are close.....

be sure to put a price tag on that buzz saw of yours.... ;)

Don't worry, it has to go to help fund university ;)...
I'm doing final fitting, as of right now everything seems to be fitting fairly good. Need to buy a belt so i can test fire it lol! After i find it's running good, i'll send it in for approval , but i have gone over this with the CFC's tech head, and he said it is as good as classified as "non-restricted", unless they find a way to make it fire off on full auto. I'm quite confident that is impossible though :D.
