So I'm about to sight my 2.5-5 POSP in but the only problem is the scope is offset to the left of the bore. I've never had experience use offset scopes so is there anything I need to know that is crucial to the sighting and operation of it?

Just thinking about the problem briefly I'm guessing I should measure the distance from the bore to the centre of the tube and sight the scope in so that the POI is the same distance from the POA so it will be equal at all ranges.

I will take some pictures this evening. :D

you should zero it to the offset point of impact and simply shoot knowing it will impact in that offset. if you try to take the offset into account when zeroing, and keep it all centered, it won't scale out to or in to other distances.. it will only be perfect at the zeroed distance.

keeping the offset will mean it wont be perfect, but it will be fine at all ranges, as apposed to bad at most ranges and very good at one.

thats the way i zero offset stuff..whatever.
