I'm looking at a POSP scope for a CZ 858 and have been doing some research and have come across some talk similar to the quote below...
"MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR POSP SCOPES = The 400 meter recticle is calibrated for the 7.62x39 round.
The 1,000 meter recticle is calibrated for the 7.62x54R "light ball" round."
Question #1
Can anyone confirm this? I've noticed the 400/1000m rangefinders... but nothing in reference to the reticles.
Question #2
Is there a legend for the scope naming convention? Ie what does the B, W and D mean on interammo scope listings vs the D, M and V found on the Russian POSP site. I think I have figured out the W=weaver mount and the D=Diopter adjust but the rest has me stumped.
Question #3
The Russian POSP site (http://www.posp.ru/posp.html) has the scopes grouped into, what looks like, a shorter side mount and a group with a taller side mount. Is one or the other specific to a CZ 858 or can you use either the taller or shorter one.
Cheers
