FIRSTLY I AM NOT GOING TO BE ALTERING THE SERIAL NUMBER I KNOW THIS TO BE ILLEGAL.
I have a vision to acquire and old west German SIG P220 and turn it into a copy of the Japanese Minebea P9 pistol, but since the SIG trade marks are engraved into the side, is there any way to fill/remove the SIG branding or better yet just source a whole new blank slide (if possible) so I can laser etch/engrave the proper Japanese markings into the slide? As I stated already I will not be touching the serial number.
