I'm a big fan of these rings because the plastic inserts don't mar scopes, obviate the need for ring lapping, and make it easy to shim the scope.
This week I contacted them to ask for two improvements: a) 34 mm rings, and b) the possibility of #10 crossbolts. The 34 mm rings would be nice for the upper-end long range scopes, and the #10 crossbolts (compared to the 6-40 they use now) would fill a picatinny rail and take double the torque (~ 60 in lbs compared to ~ 30 for the #6).
(BTW, if you've got sig zee rings with the terrible flathead crossbolt, they will send torx replacements free of charge, but they don't have them in nickel.)
On the phone the customer service rep said that they are working on 34 mm rings for next year, and that the engineers are still weighing the screw size issue, since #6 screws have the advantage of being compatible with weaver mounts. I hope they make a line of 30 and 34 mm rings, with the plastic inserts, and XTR ring style crossbolts.
