I put 80 rounds of the silver box Norinco ammo through my SKS on Sunday. Not a single problem. I'm thinking of getting more.

Thumbs up to CanAm professionalism in answering the OP's accusation since all the evidence was thrown away. Advice to ALL, when sh1t happens keep it in a bag so the true experts can examine the crap out of it :)

Honestly, I didn't throw out any of the parts. That was all the gun smith. I can give you his number if you want to verify. I did however get a picture of the round compared to another. I can't upload it yet as my home internet is down until saturday when the service tech comes to fix it. Once I am up and browsing again, I will definitely send C.A. the pic comparing the rounds.
And too be honest, I didn't even think that C.A. could/would help me out with this, or I would have thought to keep the parts and would have posted this thread earlier, like last Saturday when this happened.

You didn't think they'd help you out? Then why post in their area of CGN? I think these guy's are awesome, only had one issue out of multiple transactions and when I did, I e-mailed them and they were very good with regards to resolving the issue. I will continue to say nothing but good things about these guy's and encourage others to do business with them as well.

I was just thinking that since the problem wouldn't have been their fault, it wouldn't really be their problem to fix. That was on Saturday. Then yesterday I decided it was worth a shot to see what they had to say about it so I posted in here.

I don't know who MasterYo is but giving him the benefit of the doubt as to working in China, I appreciate that his point of view is well earned even if not so eloquently stated.

I'll confirm that from my experience working in China (NOT in the Ammo business), I've developed a healthy respect for the Chinese in business and an understanding that nothing in Chinese business is ever to be taken for granted. For Chinese producers, pragmatism trumps QC whenever they're in conflict and for consumers, the principal of caveat emptor isn't a guideline, its a religion.

One has to understand that the Chinese hunger for the good life is pretty intense and that the good life isn't yet enjoyed by many but the government connected few. The temptation to take advantage of all opportunity, nobel or otherwise, is therefore just as intense.

I admire the Chinese. The work ethic of those not totally discouraged by the system is laudible and they are in their way, explicitly honest. Scrutiny is seen as a strength and is consistent in Chinese business whereas trust in absolute terms is a weakness to be exploited. Forget this for one minute and you loose. Remember it, and an association with Chinese business can be highly beneficial.

Just one thing to note; There is Chinese surplus and norinco NOS on the market. they are different.

BTW what range/bunker is that?

the .45 ACP ammunition that i just received from you guys is Norinco non-corrosive correct? NOT chinese surplus?

So just so were clear... ONE round, the first round, gave an issue and you havent shot any other rounds since, but others have with no problems. Seems to me like it was a bad round or something. Id be giving a few of them to my buddies to see how they shoot in their guns. I bet you have no issues with the rest.

Well, myself along with everybody else who got some paid $300 plus tax. So that is just shy of $15 for the tax. So if somebody does grab it, they are saving almost $15 for two rounds lost. So instead of $0.2625 a round, its $0.2504. About a penny a round would be saved lol
