Possible Sniper/percision Match In London

HI-
I am in the early stages of organizing a "sniper/long range" match, at one of the greatest 300m range in Canada (east elgin sportsmans assc.)near London, Ontario.
As of now there will be trophies, prizes, with a grand prize of $500. (could go up if many interested).
The shoot will have "mission" type events and should be a great time.
Looking for feedback on interested parties or even suggested courses of fire.
Date is pending but, late fall or early winter before weather gets too bad. So come win some Christmas money. Registration will be around $10.00

Please explain "mission" type events. I hope that doesn't mean all cammed up with tactical gear and leopard crawling 800m through a swamp to take the shot.
I have never shot one of these style matches, can I shoot it off my elbows with a jacket and sling?

I'd recommend a plastic wading pool to throw Tom into it... be interesting to see Tom's barrel hanging over the plastic edge with his feet out the other side!
 
sniper match

This is the first I have heard of this. Have you seen the flyers for EEPR?(East Elgin Percision rifle) Are you aware we have a series of percision matches set at EESA. ?? The first practice is Sun Sept 10/06 at noon. Your match should work well with what we are doing. We will be using the listowel style sniper targets. THANKS CLINT.

Do you have a course of fire? When are these matches taking place?

sniper match

Hi Everyone

Still in the works however. I am hoping for a November date. The events will be "scenario type" and you can use and shoot any way you feel as long as the task is completed. I am hoping for moving targets, hostage style, search out, ect.
The prizes will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd with a cash prize to the 1st place winner.
If you have any ideas or comments, pm me and we may incorperate them. I would also like to get a feel of how many that would be intertested.

EESA Sniper Challenge 06

Ok Everyone Here's the deal.
Most of the hard stuff has been worked out. I am looking for a date in late November or early December. Let me know what you want and I will make it so.
Also, I need a feel of how many are interested in coming, drop me a note if you are seriously interested.
Main details will be here in about a week
It should be a fun event

I'll keep an eye out for a date. Unlike some I like to arrange my personal/work schedule around shooting.... Not the other way 'round.
