possible to dull down some polished stainless flats?

Hey guys, I have a stainless pistol with polished flats and everything else on the gun is bead-blasted...

Is it possible to dull the finish on the polished flats to make everything look bead-blasted?? Is it as easy as simply blasting the polished flats?

you could try scotchbright there are various grades to give a satin finish

Yes, blast the flats and it should look the same as the rest.

Bead blast the flats but tape up everything you don't want bead blasted. That stuff is abrasive and will get everywhere especially places you do not want to be bead blasted like any mating surfaces.
