Possible to import a g19 or similar without a barrel fitted?

Have done it many times, with Gock 27 and 30, Sig 229 and 220 Carry Models that I have had Canadian 106mm Barrels for up here
Need to remove US Barrel and Mags if more than 10 rnds before they go to Exporter, as they do not Pin them

And that's exactly what he did. They entered canada and were registered without a barrel. He then later fitted the barrel of his choice.

In short. It can be done.
Wow that's a new one for me, guess I was wrong, sorry about that. I thought that the compact/sub compact frame would still be classified as a prohib without the barrel and not allowed into Canada because a guy could drop in a 102mm when he got here.
the barrel is the prohibited device, so it can as long as the prohibited part isnt' there, but since it's not a complete unit that fires, my guess is stated above, that it comes in as a frame then once a barrel is installed gets registered as a pistol.
