Possibly a new P & Y moose

Beauty big moose, but why does everyone have to sit a country mile behind the animal for the photo's these days.

I'm guessing you think 'giant camel spiders' and 'giant Texas rattlesnakes' are pretty kool too. :p

The size of the moose speaks for itself. Folks don't need to be sitting way back behind the animal to try and make it look even larger. Just takes away from the trophy, imho.

I don't think they are sitting way back. This effect is achieved by using a wide angle lens and taking the picture up close.

Try it sometime! :D

Wow that's an impressive animal. Congrats. Eating something that big and old.
You will get muscles in your face from chewing it all winter long.

Yes, the digital cameras have a wide angle lens at normal setting, as compared with a 35mm camera and the "standard" 50mm lens.
With a digital, it should be set at least at the 3x optical setting, then back up a bit to fill the frame, when taking pictures of animals and people.

Either way, I'm not a fan of camera 'effects' intended to make the trophy look bigger than it really is. There's enough of that on the Interwebz already. Just my opinion. Still, a great moose. Congrats to the hunter.
