Hope I'm not rehashing something that has been covered in the recent past here, but having easily found the history of this model of lever gun, I have no idea what the various differences, quirks, or perhaps negatives were/are of the many subtle changes in this gun's manufacture over the last 46 years or so. Are there any years that are better than others in this time period or perhaps some model years to avoid? Any personal comments or good links would be much appreciated.
