I recently acquired a 1967 "beater" 94 on the cheap.
It's in good mechanical condition, but the barrel and receiver have seen better days.
Electrolysis took all heavy stuff off, and the barrel took superblue pretty nicely.
The receiver, not so much.
This is originally finished in the white, but i'd like to cover some of the heavier pitting and add some protection to get as much life outta the thing as I can.
Anybody done this? Will hot rust bluing work? Alumahyde?
