Post 64 Win Model 70 pricing and model Info Please.

Hello, I have a Winchester Model 70 that I would like some more information on. Could someone tell me what model it is and what the fair market value would be? Serial number indicates it was produced in 1968 and there is a small amount of bluing worn off at the muzzle. appears to have been a safe queen all its life as the bore is bright and shinny and wood has little to no marks.

I would guess about $450-$500 for the rifle alone, not including the scope.

Why is the front scope base covered with hockey tape? It sort of sets off a red flag to me.

I put the tape on just to cover the serial number.
