I have a question regarding post-64 Winchester Model 70 Stocks and bottom metals.

I own a new FN Winchester M70 SS Extreme Weather in .270
The composite stock will be fine for hunting but I also would like a nice factory walnut stock for it.
And to that end, I recently purchased a post-64 Win factory sporter stock, that came off of a Stainless Classic

However the Classic stock (circa 1990s) does not fit my new FN rifle as well as I had hoped.
I will try to inletting the older stock to fit the new barrelled action myself ..
but if I have any problems, is there anyone in B.C. does this kind of work?

I wish I could give you a name of who you could call but I am certain that you are going to be fully able to get it to fit on your own. Go slow, measure more than twice, and enjoy the fruits of your labor. It can take some work to make the floor plate of the newer FN match up with the older 2 piece floorplate design of the post model 64 and classics but it can be done.
