.
I have a question regarding post-64 Winchester Model 70 Stocks and bottom metals.
I own a new FN Winchester M70 SS Extreme Weather in .270
The composite stock will be fine for hunting but I also would like a nice factory walnut stock for it.
And to that end, I recently purchased a post-64 Win factory sporter stock, that came off of a Stainless Classic
However the Classic stock (circa 1990s) does not fit my new FN rifle as well as I had hoped.
I will try to inletting the older stock to fit the new barrelled action myself ..
but if I have any problems, is there anyone in B.C. does this kind of work?
