Looks like a VZ 52/57. It's what the Czechs made instead of SKS. They originally came in 7.62x45, which is a pain to find nowadays.

Did you polish the carrier on the first one or did it come that way? The experts on CGN say they all came with plum carriers out of the factory. I've read differently on some other sites...
I tend to believe Horilkas statements about the bluing starting in 41. That being said, a refurb should be in a proper refurb state imho.
