mcknipau / myenfied: I have a one piece stock for an Enfield that I purchased from Elwood Epps when he was in Clinton Ont. I have a barreled action that I will put the stock on (eventually), could one of you tell me / post a pic. of the recoil lug on your rifle, is it welded to the barrel / some where else. I'm thinking of putting one on like the Rem. 700. Thank you for any imput from anyone. --- John303.

I mean, it's kind of hateful-looking all done up like that.

It's a Cooey 82 trainer in full stock regalia that a (more than) slightly demented old fellow took to painting to make it look like...?a parade rifle? Oh FFS that is sad...but I will turn it back to original condition... stripped the paint off the metal already... the stock has a serial number and other interesting cartouches...most likely was a cadet rifle. I promise to post new pics with the restoration

Nice present in the mail today. 1942 No4 Mk1 soon to be desporterized. bore looks good, hope shes a shooter!
