I understand the point of it, and I also understand that Canadas legal system wont give a dam wat people call it if they are caught with illegal possession of a prohibited firearm.

I personally identify as a law abiding/complying gun owner and advertise my self as such especially on public forums.

Well let's see what the compliance rate is come the deadline for Quebec's new gun registry! I bet this go around there is much much more non compliance than the last time. Give us a good idea what to expect with the Fed's new registry.
 
I am a law abiding gun owner right up to the point they outlaw my guns and then I'll be an outlaw.

The day they outlaw guns they will create a new category of gun owners: Outlaws!

Every monumental moment in human history was paved by people who could not abide!

I will NOT live in a society where only criminals have guns!!!

Its friggin hilarious that this site is ripe with fears that the FA & CC will in some way be twisted by an overzealous Crown and end up with someone going to jail for "paperwork".

Then, in another thread, the 102 Chairborne is inviting prosecution for illegal possession of a prohibited.

I'll do my best to play by the rules... that is, unless the government keeps on changing the rules for no apparent reasons and makes me a paper-criminal.
 
Just wait for the ####-show that will result from non-banned ones versus banned in the wild. They can't keep the frt system straight as it is, imagine an LEO trying to decide which dates they believe it falls under

This is the best case scenario, as I'm sure some would rush to detain and confiscate
