Today my wife stopped at the General store/ Post office/ Beer store (all in one) and the guy there said to her "your husband must be excitied" she said why "because I stopped to get him a case of beer" he said "no his parcel is in but if your getting him beer than he's a lucky man".
So when I got home from work there was a case of beer in the garage on the steps and when I went in the house there was a box on the table from SIR/Cabelas. Turns out the 700 SPS Varmint .308 I ordered back in Nov. and pretty much forgot about showed up.
That guns has been back ordered since Nov. so I actually figured it'd never come. The beauty of it is I still got it for the old price of $569.
So I got home and my wife picked up a case of beer for me, a new gun arrived, the kids and I spent some time in the tractor together tonight feeding the horses. Now if I just go upstairs and get some tail I would say this was a perfect day!!!!
Hopfully get it out this weekend and see how it shoots and what it needs.
