I'll start: 1946r Russian M44 rifle w/Chinese Triangle 21 bolt. Stock was rough, refinished in American Chestnut poly, keeping most of the imperfections.

Really like the finish on yours st1264. Looks very commie. Well done.

Here's mine, got it from Tradex a few years back for about 190 shipped. Pristine 1944 Tula, sweet little carbine!

Pretty sweet with laminated stock.

Lobster, I sin when I look at your rifle. "Thou shall not covet an other mans rifle"

Wow! Love the laminated wood, looks gorgeous! Is this original or "aftermarket"?[/QUO
To the best of my knowledge, the Russians used laminated stocks for the M44 during wartime. The shellac on mine was sloppily applied and had some defects, so I ended up stripping it and applying a MinWax mahogany stain and several coats of BLO. I like the looks of it, but in retrospect, I wonder if I should have just left it as it was....:(

For the money they can't be beat. I paid $179 for mine. Brand new had never been fired.

Figured may as well keep the theme going and figured may as well have the quintessential commie pistol, the TT-33 Tokarev. Just hope they're still available in mid March when my RPAL should be in. Looking to a site sponsor or possible trade on EE.
