BEAUTIFUL! You gentlemen are very lucky. Hopefully the abusers smarten the f up and learn how to clean up after themselves. I moose hunt north west of Sudbury in area 38 and every year we clean up after the lazy %^$$@#@!@.
Abuse our rights and you can be sure someone will work on taking them away.
Good shooting gent's!

Damn, you Westerners are lucky - I hope you know that, appreciate it, and take advantage of it. What beautiful country and what beautiful shooting places.

The desire to shoot long is a natural extension of the opportunity, and need to do so. Or was it the other way around?

As seen from my front door. This goes out to 425 yards. 635 if I go from the front gate.

Don't have any pictures of my 1 mile range. Its 2 miles down the road. I'll go take one soon.

One of my spots...

Here's one of my choice little spots. I guess distance is pretty much unlimited. I have a gong at 850 and another at a grand. I'm going to set one up at a mile in the next few weeks. It's about a half hour drive from my house up the Alaska Highway. I have a couple of other really nice spots out there as well, but I really like this piture for some reason.

Cheers, YC

I hate living in the city! I have never seen so much beautiful country in my life. You people are damn lucky.

You are very right. Even though I live just outside Edmonton, the county I live does not allow recreational shooting. The big difference between Dianne and I is how far away from the city to live. I would love to be able to shoot out my back door or a short drive away. I remember visting John and Pat Hipwell (Wolverine Supplies) in Virden Manitoba and being very envious as to their shooting situation (range out the back door). Phil.

I remember being there some time ago with an old girlfriend. Just outside of Edmonton Saint "something", St Jacob? I can't remember, but it was beautiful. Country on one side and WestEd Mall on the other side. Lol! The sky seems bigger out there.

I used to live in St. Albert (small city) but now live in Sturgeon County on an acerage. Phil.

I am a city boy and still figured out how to find a spot or two to drive to for a day of fun...;) Picture thread:)
