Bought from a fellow CGN'er. Going to swap the 870 SGA for an 590 SGA, just waiting on the adapter. Not a huge fan of the Aridus shell carrier so that will probably go and get replaced with some S&J cards. Streamlight Protac 2.0 with an Arisaka adapter, Zbolt crane plug and a Hotbutton on the left side. And plenty of ammo to feed this pig.

Not much yet but I have some parts on the way and plans for it. I bought this used off another gunnut. Gun came with the factory stock as well as the magpul stock/adapter. Unfortunately the stock is the remington version which in my opinion has no business being on this shotgun. It puts my hand way to far away from the trigger (does not help I have small mitts).
Love the fde but hate that the magpul is a shade off. I decided to go the black/fde route as I need a new stock anyways. I ordered the following which will be here this week

S&J Hardware magazine tube extension (black)
S&J Hardware magazine tube clamp
As I cannot find a Aridus v2 Handguard in stock, I grabbed a factory Handguard in black to make things look right until I get a new Handguard.

No problems at all! I have a fleet of beretta autoloaders, they all run on anything you feed them
When I received mine from a felllow CGN'er it came with the 870 stock (barf). Got rid of it post haste and threw a 590 SGA on there. Atleast I was able to use the 870 version on an....870. The 590 has a better angle for the grip and a much better reach for the trigger finger.

Well, the stock and other parts are being delivered today ! I can't wait to get them all put on. I am not sure why anyone would want to put the 870 version on the 1301 (unless you have massive hands).

Well, got it pretty much how I want it however, I am not a huge fan of the Handguard. Seems like a perfect opportunity for junk and debris to get into the gas system. Also curious about gas blowback as the system is so exposed.
Threw a flashlight on that I had in the parts box but will be ordering something different for it.

Interesting. What do you run on the pic rail?
Either a AGF/XTM Hand stop kit & the odd time a tripod, I need to move the pic rail forward towards the muzzle about 3 inches to make room behind it to put a five round shot card just after the loading port.
The shot card is flexible & will wrap around the handguard.

That pic rail was just to cover the serial#
I just realized there are no screws securing it and when I thought about it nothing to secure it too where it is.

Just a heads up to the Beretta 1301 Tactical owners on the site, I will be giving away this forend & heat shield once I get an exact replacement for it.
There is nothing wrong with the set-up, it clears the action bars & stays in place.
Functions as designed.
It is a plug & play set up.
