Post your Beretta 1301 Tacticals

Do you guys prefer the co witness optic mounts for shotguns? Or the regular rail mounted stuff ok? I find with a shotgun your head is already situated a little lower so the co witness might be better.

Had the nordic co witness set up(to low JM.02) I feel the Tactical Ordnance set up is better using the OEM sights, have now gone to the Primary Arms 1x optic w etched reticle. But I am running a different stock set up.

Does the Nordic extension tube give you a +2 with 2-3/4"? I was talking to the guy at FOC and he says it does. If that is the case has anyone tested it with 3" shells to make sure you cant fit a 6th one in there?

Additionally, I was installing one onto my buddies rig and when i was tightening down the barrel clamp i could feel and see the barrel almost shifting toward the tube or vice versa. Have you guys noticed this? Does that not throw off any barrel acoustics ?

The Nordic Beretta 1301 Tactical Extension kit unplugged will allow 6 - 3" shells in the mag tube. That is why we sell them with a permanent plug attached to the end cap. They are plugged to just under 6 - 3" shells.

Haven't had a single issue with the Nordic/Tacord kit

Certain clamps have different gaping or spacing for the distance between barrel and magazine tube. Most are made for a standard distance that most manufactors follow, but the odd clamp is either not to spec, or is made for a shotgun with a unique gap. If you use them on a shotgun they are not made for, they certainly can move the tube or barrel, and you obviously do not want to do that.

Very nice! How do you like the Truckee fore-end?

It is chunky and a little slick but I think it is the best option out there. All of the mlok slots are usable and it is much more solid than the modified Zhukov. It also has enough space for the heat shield to fit

You can always "stipple" the fore end

anyone know specifically which cerokote color matches the od green factory finish?

OD Green (H-236)?
Mil Spec OD Green (H240)?
Mil Spec Green (H264)?
One of the other dozen greens?

Thanks for any insight.

Perhaps you can ask BBB from S & J hardware what he used for his mag ext.
