Post your M1911A1s!!!

Hello Gents,

I'm not sure if this has been done before but if not let's give it a try. Time to show of some of your safe queens!

First one is my newly acquired Remington Rand 1911A1, manufactured in 1943. Nothing special but it's all original with no signs of ever being rebuilt/refinished.

The second one is a Colt 1911A1 manufactured in 1943 as well. It too is all original with no signs of having been refinished. This one also has the serial numbered slide.

Sounds pretty special to me. A lovely collectable, a 1911 that I would like in my safe. I'm sure you took a heavy hit to get it.

Nice pistol, nice to see it again. I really like the shade of parkerizing
