Post your MDT chassis

Ruger American Ranch 223/556. Crappy cell phone pictures. I'll do better next time. Now to find a nice compact optic.

Savage Axis .223. Sure its still only an Axis, but it looks badass and shoots 1" groups. Hope to get a Yote or two with it before the season ends this month.

Anyone know where the long action aics mags can be found in Canada? I am waiting to order my LSS for a Vanguard in 30-06 but they are out of stock on the long action mags currently.

Just ordered a LSS system for my RAR .308 since I liked the MVP 5.56 so much. Got the collapsible stock this time so I can change parts between rifles for hunting or target if needed. Just don't know if it comes with a cheek rest/pad or not. (Sent an email asking as I'd like a FDE rest on the black buttstock so it matches the two tone thing I've got going on.)

Now the wait...

Although I'm glad to see MDT is doing well and making deals with Mossberg, Savage, and Weatherby I'm a little disappointed. One of the reasons I started buying these stocks was to be different than most people.
Now with the popularity of the LSS, and at lest 3 manufacturers using them for OME, I'll be seeing a lot of similar setups at the club going forward. At least support and parts should be available for years to come, along with new innovations.

The new for 2016 light skeletal stock looks interesting, at half the weight. (Better choice for hunting I expect.)
A folding stock that locks closed as well as open would be a nice addition.

Still have about 6 or 6 days to go before getting my latest chassis and extras.

If anything today that I've seen deserves a f:P: , it's this comment. IMHO, I would want a chassis that shot very well over something that is "different" than everyone else's. While I am very pleased with my custom HS3, I could care less if everyone is shooting them.

This is a "come on man!" moment.

Apparently you can't read... "One of the reasons".

Simplicity, weight, cost, mounting, part interchangeability all factor. Until I owned one how it shot wasn't yet proven. (Didn't see any real change I could nail down to a chassis replacement.) If all things are equal I choose what looks better to me.

I would assume that as this IS a MDT chassis thread the reasons for buying the stock wouldn't need to be posted, but feel free to be an a$$hat. I guess your 20k posts makes you entitled.

That's a cool video.

My daughter is 4 and I will probably introduce her to the .22LR this summer.

How old is your daughter and that's 223 right?

:)
