Post your pics and reviews of the CZ 455 Canadian

I'll be joining the group shortly (ordered today), but wondering what are the thoughts on using CZ rings and putting rails over the dovetails? I read that high rings are recommended to avoid the bolt handle coming close to the scope.

What rings you use depends a great deal on the scope you use. I think most CZ shooters (at least judging from those posting on RFC) use rings that go on the dovetails. I have a number of CZ rimfire rifles and none has a rail and there's room for the bolt. There are a lot of good rings to choose from.

455 American .17HMR
Bushnell DOA 3x9 scope

Dead on at 50m and 100m
Then nearly perfect 50m increments.

I can shoot 5/8" @ 100m with CCI 17gr V-Max ammo.

Best 450$ I ever spent

I have Talley Mediums (100004) on my CZ 452 American. These are paired with a Leupold 3-9x33 Rimfire EFR - no clearance issues with the bolt. I'm very happy with them.
I have the same scope on my 455 American, but mounted with Warne 7.3 medium height rings ($35 from Amazon). Fits very nicely, about 1/4 inch clearance on the objective, same on the eyepiece above the bolt handle. Good cheek weld, etc.
I had a Nikon 3-9 x 40 Target EFR on the same rifle, it wasn't a good match with the large eyepiece on the Nikon, even with high rings. The high bolt throw on the CZ can be a problem.
