I have tested about 6 different rounds in my MKII and the most accurate so far is CCI Standard Velocity.

Mystic Player has had some pretty amazing results with SK Match, whatever that is, but they are pricy!

The CCI goes for $40/500 and I'll spend the extra $10 for the 1 hole groups it produces at 50m.

I'm on my Black Berry right now so can't link to the thread I made on the topic, but I'll try later.

I'm interested in a Savage MKII and was wondering if any of the stainless steel barrels are heavy barrel configurations?

Otherwise, I'd just go with an FV...

I don't believe the heavy barrel (V) comes in a stainless variant (SS) in the Mark II F model. This according to the models listed in Savage's website. The Mark II BTVLSS model might be your best bet if you want a SS heavy barrel:
