My old SVT-40 was lonely so I ordered 4 more SVT-40s from Lever Arms on Friday and the rifles came in Tuesday! I was really happy to see such quick service, especially for rifles that went across all of Canada. Really fast work from Lever Arms.

I would have enjoyed to see a bit of newspaper taped over the muzzles as two of the rifles poked through the cardboard box. It dampened my spirit to see the deliver guy hand me a box with muzzle brakes sticking out of it, but luckily the Russian engineering survived unscathed.

All rifles were in decent shape, with actually pretty good rifling, but despite my 25$ per rifle paid for the hand selection, Lever Arms managed to give me AVT stocks on two of the rifles even if I had asked for the regular stocks. Makes me feel like I'm out 50 bucks.

Either way those little nitpicks aren't so bad, I can't wait to clean these up and head to the range.

How has accuracy been for you fellas? My original rifle was pretty darn good, actually, and yes I need to adjust the sight.

This time I've bought more ammo so when I go to the range I'll be able to get a couple more groups on paper, hopefully get an idea how decent of a shooter each rifle is.

I bought mine from Lever as well!! It's nothing special as far as SVT40's go but it shoots great!!

Here's some targets I've shot with it.

I sanded the stock out so the barrel wasn't touching anywhere and used cork to try to help accuracy. This technique worked really well for one of my Mosins so I thought I'd give it a try with my SVT40.

The difference wasn't night and day but it did help some.

I've purchased a few from Lever myself...I too had one arrive where the muzzle had poked out and was really banged up. I took pics before I signed for the package, had the deliveryman acknowledge (and sign) that it was indeed damaged in transport and sent all the info to Lever right after I signed for it. Lever handled the claim quickly, professionally and made sure I was a satisfied customer in the end. A-1 service in my books.
