Hey Guys;

A five shot 10 meter target with my iron sighted break barrel Gamo 440 in .177 & H&N Diabolo Sport pellets.

No wonder the crows, rabbits & starlings drop!

Anyone else have a TON of fun with their airguns?

Rented a cabin with no wifi or cell service a couple of weeks ago........ Brought along the crossman pumpmaster to keep the young lad occupied...... Then I found myself plinking with it all weekend.... Lol... Back to my youth...

Long story short, I bought a more serious air rifle after the weekend.... A Ruger Targis... Will set something up at 10 meters and see what I can do

The Predator Polymag pellets are one of the best for hunting as they double in size on impact but require about 500fps + to do that. Killed a slew of large pests and small game with them.Harold

I like splitting paper verses punching it. This is easy to do at 14yds with my CZ631 and cheap Bushy 3-9.

Thanks! Best of all, it was a $99 rifle I picked up on sale AND the iron sights are pretty decent fibre optic that I can shoot well.

I had a furry marmot gift me the stink eye just the other day.
Not an air gun nearby...........good thing too.
So I ended up buying a cage and some vittles.

Now I need to go find my .177 and take it out next time.

Here's 5 shots at 50 yards with my custom 2240 pistol (into the center CD):

Changed to 10.1" .177 LW barrel, steel breach, open diopter sights, and some walnut grips. Group measured 2".

Here's the pistol:

The pistol is no longer sporting the open sights. I switched to a Vortex StrikeFire with 2X magnification on it. I'm also planning to add a folding stock.

I also have a Hammerli Pneuma that I use the most in .22 for targets and hunting. It's lethal out to about 65 yards.
