With what I've got at my disposal right now, I'd probably go with the Tokarev. It's thin, packs lots of punch and won't be a huge loss if it has to be surrendered as evidence (justified shooting or not, the police will have to do some kind of investigation). I figure a 90gr Hornady XTP running along at about the same speed as issue ball should be pretty effective. Combine that with a good folding knife and a good flashlite, I figure I'd be set.

Or, seeing as how I'm tall and stocky, just pack the Gp-100

Not to go offtopic, but I have to say that the most interesting thing in this thread, for me, is seeing people's keys.

A couple weeks ago there was a local guy who's cars were stolen while he was sleeping. The cops say it was a "sophisticated auto theft ring"... The thieves decoded by eye his Hummer and house key from a picture on his Myspace page, got into the garage and lucked out when his spare Porsche fob was inside the Hummer.... Got away clean with both cars (and the guy's dignity). If only he'd have held off buying that '07 H2 for a few months.... the '08s have a transponder key.

Just an FYI.
