If you use Photobucket.
In your Album of choice, there are 4 boxes below each thumbnail. If you Left click on the text in the lowest box (Called IMG Code) it will automatically copy an tagged hotlink to your picture and not a weblink that needs to be clicked on, then all you do is right click and paste into your ad, no need to click on the image icon as it will already be tagged.
If you use another hosting site then the link to the image must have Image Tags around it, for example [IMG]www.whateveryourpictureis.jpg if you just put in
www.whateveryourpictureis.jpg then it will give a clickable link (as seen here) and not a hotlink to your image. This is where you would use the Image Icon, paste the link to your picture, then hit OK for it to add the tags. Or you can manually type in the tags around your image link.
If you already have an ad up, just add
at the end of the link and that should fix it. If you have multiple images in an ad, each link has to have it's own seperate tags, For example:
Some hosting sites have bandwidth limits for Hotlinked images and some hosting sites won't let you hotlink at all.
