So The postman brought me a gift today! Whatever could it be!

I track down my sharpest pocket knife and slowly make incisions across the tape on both ends. Open it up and its still a mystery!

Take the paper away and what do we have!?! Delicious corn starch packing peanuts!

After eating a few green ones to see if they taste the same as the white, I come with with a conclusion... They do. Also in the box was some peices of metal, They look like this ;)

I recently bought a SAM and the ACT mag looks to be pretty much the same as the Meccar ones I have except the plastic base is a bit different and the orientation of the witness holes. Both say "Made in Italy". The Dlask mags (which I have only seen in pics) appear to be Meccar as well.

Meccar is a major manufacture of mags and will mark them as the customer wants. They have been providing the "factory" mags for HiPowers since the 80's.
 
THat is awesome. I just ordered four of those mags with a new SAM 1911 Military enhanced 45 auto. Hopefully I will be unwrapping a gift soon too. What model Kershaw is that?

They seem like really solid mags iam very impressed for the price.

And I dont know what model the kershaw is, Its a Ken Onion Design. Its spring assisted and I bought It a few years ago now, I was prying on something I shouldnt have been with it and broke the blade, kershaw replaced it free of charge and it keeps an edge like a son a of a #####!
 
You said the green packing peanuts taste the same as the white ones, but you haven't said what they taste like???? I'd try myself except somethings telling me it may not be a good idea....will you comment?:popCorn:

You've never tried them? Their just corn starch and probably a few cancerous chemicals, They're delicous, especially with dip:sok2

If my eyes don't deceive me, that's a Ken Onion "Leek" - I have two; I love them! I also broke the tip off one of them using it inappropriately... I'm going to get in touch with Kershaw now - I'm more that willing to pay for a new blade.
 
Heres the ones I got from Wolverine 2 days ago for about 54 bucks shipped to Ontario.They are the Sam 1911 .45. They are 17.99 right now.I also have 2 coming from dlask as I phoned to cancel my order because it was taking to long but I was a day late :)

a little off topic but i had too

well this is a little off topic.i got one of them knives(kershaw spring assisted) and i love them also.i got a kershaw snap-on stainless edition and i got my little brother the snap-on red wrench limited edition one for christmas.here are a couple pics. by the way i will be ordering a few of those mags probably next week,great price and havent heard many bad things about them.
