Powder and Projectiles just landed!!

Did I just miss something? Did Western Metal just become 7/11... Are they open 24/7? How do you explain these prices?

Are they even reading these comments?

I'm not that Mad at my Money!

I used to "support local" and buy quite a bit of powder from WM, but that is definitely not happening anymore. I'm a small business owner and I'm the first to acknowledge that costs have gone up, but not by over 56%.

Exactly. I was checking out some of my inventory and the stuff that I thought I paid too much for would now be a bargain.

Me too! LoL During the last "shortage" a few years ago a buddy of mine scored 4 pounds of RL 22 for me at $55.00 each and 2 bricks of LR primers for $50.00 each. At the time it seemed obscene but it sure nice not worrying about running out.

Our Canadian currency is currently taking a $hit-kicking and the current $0.70 vs the USD is expected to drop down to $0.60 or lower by the end of this summer. Anything we buy that is not made here will cost us dearly.

Two of my local shops have recently received Varget back in stock. One has it for $54 a pound, same as it always was. Talking to a friend there, he said the price did increase for them, but they ate the difference as they were still able to make a profit keeping the old price. Mind you, this is at a big box store of sorts so they may be buying in higher quantities and getting better prices.

The second place increased their price to $60 (about $4-$6 increase), but they are a smaller store, but admittedly do have a habbit of having some outrageous prices likely aimed at catching the unaware/uninitiated/uneducated.

Talk about cutting deep ....wtf!!!jesus a pound of powder was like 16.00 back when!!..
Shame on these dealers!!!
There is absolutely no need to beat people like this
And then they say shipping ..this cost ...that costs.......I call bull
Excuse after excuses
