Hi, I am reloading for my 260rem and am having good initial results with reloader 19 and am wondering if it will change come this winter and -35. I use some Hodgdon line in H4895 in my 204ruger have not noticed much change with temperature. The choice for the reloader 19 is based on availability and like I said it seems to working so far. My back up plan is to go to H4350 next if necessary.

Thanks, Chad.

Yes, it will be about 100 fps milder. Not that big a deal. But, in cold weather the firing pin can slow down unless you have washed out the fiing pin channel to remove the oil. That can cause misfires. This is where the federal primer has an advantage.

If you load for the winter, you can always just add a grain of powder, but ammo might not be good for the summer.
